But what does all that mean? Let’s start.
This refers to how deep the heads go. Higher amplitude = Deeper Hits.
General rule of thumb is the deeper the device hits, the stronger the “punchy” feel.
2. Stall Force
This refers to how much weight you can exert on the massage gun before it stops moving. Stall force allows you to put more pressure and reach deeper into the muscle area you’re working on.
It works in balance with the amplitude. This is because a high amplitude/low stall device won’t be able to go as deep as you like.
RPM means revolutions per minute, or how many times your HYDRAGUN can hit the target area every minute. At the lowest setting, HYDRAGUN has a speed rage of 1200 rpm. This goes incrementally higher per setting, with a maximum of 3200 rpm at speed setting 6.
Amplitude, stall force and RPM preferences can vary for everyone. For example, if you’re very physically active, you may require more intense muscle stimulation compared to someone who may not work out as much.
This is where the secondary factors come into play.
1. Speed settings
This allows you to customize your HYDRAGUN based on your needs.. Very sore muscles tend to be more painful and can benefit from low speed massages while higher speeds are fantastic for deep knots.
2. Attachment heads
HYDRAGUN comes with 4 regular heads and 2 stainless steel ones, allowing the user more customization. Different heads target different muscle groups. The extra stainless steel heads are awesome for getting a massage while wearing a shirt. It helps the device glide much more smoothly.

1. Noise Level
This is one of the most common complaints about other percussion therapy devices in the market today, regardless of price point. They’re simply too loud and too distracting, some would even say annoying. HYDRAGUN addresses this by making the gun as quiet as a fridge. You can watch TV while massaging your sore shoulders. It’s THAT quiet.
2. Battery Life
Up to 7 hours on a single charge. Minimal charging frequency means you get longer use of the device before having to charge again.
It must be noted here though, that normal wear and tear will cause the massage gun to get noisier over time. The battery will also degrade and may not hold a charge for as long after a few years.
HYDRAGUN weighs 2.3lbs, or about as much as a good hairdryer. This means it won’t strain your hands and arms from the heft but won’t be too lightweight that you need to apply extra pressure for it to work.
More than aesthetics (although HYDRAGUN looks good, too), you want a device that’s both practical and functional. Built with an aluminum alloy body, this sports therapy device is sturdy. Your HYDRAGUN was charged at the factory to test the battery. Because of this, it may arrive with some left-over factory charge so you can grab it out of the box and start using it. However, it’s also possible to receive one that needs charging before you can start using it. Either way, it’s still better to fully charge the device before using.
1. Connect the DC end of the adaptor to the HYDRAGUN’s charging port found at the base of the massage gun.
2. Plug the AC side to a compatible power outlet.
3. The charger has a LED light that will glow red once plugged in.
4. Once the battery is full, the charger light will turn green.
5. To test, turn the device on. All three battery power LED lights will be lighted up if the battery is full.
Charging time: 3-5 hours
Avoid overcharging as it can adversely affect battery life.
You don’t need to wait for the battery to fully drain before recharging but it’s not advisable to use the massage gun while it’s plugged in.
Turning it On
Once your HYDRAGUN is fully charged, it’s time to get it going. Turn the device on by simply pressing the power button. You’ll feel a very light click and the battery indicator will light up to indicate it’s ready to use.
How to Operate
Once the massage gun is turned on, you can easily cycle through the settings by pressing the power button again. One press will switch it to gear 1, which is the lowest setting at 1300 rpm. Click the power button again to go to the next higher setting.
To turn the device off, just press and hold the power button until the lights turn off.
Attaching and Removing the Attachment Heads
To attach, push the head into the opening gently but firmly.
To remove the attachment, simply pull the head firmly away from the massage gun body. You may also pull while simultaneously twisting the attachment to make it easier to remove.
Caring for Your HYDRAGUN
Periodic cleaning of your HYDRAGUN will ensure it lasts longer.
To clean, use a damp cloth to wipe the device exterior. Do not use strong bleach or chemicals. Do not wipe the inside of the gun where attachments go.
Using HYDRAGUN in 3 Easy Steps
Whether you’re an athlete or a regular person needing muscle pain relief, HYDRAGUN is easy to use.
1. Choose the attachment head you need. Connect it to the massage gun and turn the device on.
Pro tip: Turn the device on before putting it against your body so you’ll have better control.
2. Rest the HYDRAGUN against your body. Glide it slowly along the muscle without any pressure at first and adjust to your preference.
3. For tight muscles and knots, you can let the HYDRAGUN rest on the spot for a few seconds.

HYDRAGUN is meant to complement your training and workout sessions.
1. Warming Up
When: Before your workout
How Long: 30 seconds per muscle group
How to do it: Float HYDRAGUN over the target muscle group to warm them up. For optimal results, do some stretches as well.
2. Rest Between Sets
When: During exercise, between sets
How Long: 15 seconds per muscle group
How to do it: While resting between sets, use the HYDRAGUN on the muscle groups you’re working on to maximize efficiency and help reduce muscle fatigue.
3. Cool Down
How Long: 2 minutes per muscle group
How to do it: Same as pre-workout, simply float the HYDRAGUN over the muscle groups you worked on for 2 minutes to help reduce DOMS.
4. DOMS Prevention
When: On active recovery days
How Long: 2 minutes per muscle group
How to do it: Use the HYDRAGUN to massage and stretch muscles out during active recovery days. Couple with light to moderate activity.
You can also use HYDRAGUN even if you’re not an athlete. You can use it for muscle soreness and pain management.
HYDRAGUN is also a fantastic relaxing tool and can be used before bed.
Where to Use the Attachment Heads
HYDRAGUN comes with 6 different attachment heads.
The ball attachment is recommended for large muscle groups. The fork has dual-point targeting and is great for deeper penetration of medium muscle groups. The bullet head is recommended for pinpoint targeting of tight knots.
The flat heads (1 regular, 2 stainless steel) are suggested for larger surface areas.
You can use your HYDRAGUN all over the body, from the neck, shoulders, torso, legs and feet.
When it comes to massage guns, less is best. Remember –
1. Do not use your HYDRAGUN for more than a couple of minutes in one single area. Focusing too long on an area can cause the skin to become tender and you may get bruised.
2. If the area quickly reddens, that means that part may already have a lot of blood flow. Move to another area.
3. Always keep your HYDRAGUN moving instead of keeping it in a static position.
4. Do not use the massage gun directly on bones, joints , tendons or nerve endings.
5. Do not use it on areas with wounds.
Your HYDRAGUN should not cause pain. If your muscles are very tense and the massage feels unbearably painful, stop right away. Similarly, a pins-and-needles sensation signals that you’ve hit a nerve and should also stop.
